HOW I GOT HERE, THE HIGHLIGHTS

• 1999

  First job in IT as on-site support and a Linux/NT administrator. Got annoyed at how difficult the products were for the users, decided to become a developer and create better ones.

• 2006

  After several years as a developer with an interest in design, got my first full-time UX position as an Usability Specialist.

• 2008

  (Finally) graduated with a Masters Degree from university of Jyväskylä, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction and Cognitive Sciences.

• 2009

  Moved to London, started work at BBC as an Interaction Designer. First time working in a large design team, absorbing information like a sponge.

• 2011

  Started as Lead Designer for Onesto Services, creating our own design strategy and workflow. Built up a team that carried over to Qvantel and did a lot of really cool enterprise design.

• 2017

  Left the safety of a steady paycheck and formed Taajuudella Design to do my own thing.
